With iPadOS 17 and later, users can connect any USB-C HDMI capture device or USB-C webcam directly to VideoViewer Pro, enabling seamless integration and functionality.

An additional advantage of using an HDMI capture card includes the ability to hear audio through the device’s speakers or when connected to AirPods or Bluetooth headphones. The application also offers manual selection of the audio output source, providing greater flexibility during use.

Video sources can be displayed in Picture-in-Picture mode, allowing continuous playback while multitasking with other applications. The input video can be recorded and saved directly to the Photos app, with snapshots also available for capture and storage.

Users can rename videos within the application for better organization, though these names are only reflected within VideoViewer Pro. The app fully supports split view and slide-over multitasking features, as well as Stage Manager for enhanced workflow management.

Connected devices can be configured individually with various settings, including:

• Camera Name
• Mute State
• Camera Resolution
• Camera Frame Rate
• Camera Mirroring (On/Off)
• Camera Rotation (0°, 90°, 180°, 270°)

It should be noted that compatibility may be limited when connecting to UVC devices via USB-C hubs.
